Players are meant to explore the castle, uncover the story's mysteries, brew potions, rescue fantastical creatures, etc. Hogwarts Legacy is an action-adventure RPG, not a life simulator. Thus, I think it's time to nip peoples' expectations in the bud with this game once and for all.

Not even gaming industry darling The Witcher 3 let Geralt park his chiseled backside into any random chair for a quick rest. Games like Skyrim are the exception, not the rule, and most gamers are so focused on exploring and trying different classes or playstyles that the option largely goes unnoticed by them until their 6th playthrough when they've modded the game to total buggery with survival and realistic needs mods.

This would be more understandable with jumping or swimming since these are common methods of traversal in most video games, but outside of a simulator or hardcore survival game with intrusive fatigue mechanics, being able to sit down isn't really a key feature in most games. I've been noticing a lot of people very clearly upset by the confirmation that our character cannot simply sit in a chair in the game.
